Low level laser treatment that stimulates healing at the cellular level
Laser treatments
Advanced light therapy for healing and pain relief
Photobiomodulation (PBM), also known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT), uses specific wavelengths of light to interact with cells in the body. This process enhances cellular function, helping tissues repair, regenerate, and reduce inflammation.
Unlike treatments that generate heat to destroy tissue, photobiomodulation works at a cellular level — supporting and accelerating the body’s natural healing response.
Photobiomodulation with the K-Laser works by stimulating mitochondria — the “powerhouses” of your cells. This increases the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is essential for cellular energy and repair.
As a result, K-Laser therapy can:
- Enhance tissue repair and regeneration
- Reduce inflammation
- Improve circulation
- Decrease pain signals
- Accelerate healing after injury or procedures

What conditions can be treated with PBM?
K-Laser photobiomodulation is versatile and can be used to support a wide range of concerns, including:
- Muscular pain and joint discomfort (strains, arthritis, acute injuries and chronic pain)
- Tendon and ligament injuries (such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, thumb and wrist tendonitis, elbow tendonitis, sprains)
- Post-procedure healing (fractional laser, bruising, redness)
- Inflammatory skin conditions (acne, dermatitis, lichen sclerosis, leg swelling)
- Wound healing (excisions, biopsies, plastic or other surgical wounds, chronic ulcers, haematomas)
- Scar management
What does the PBM treatment feel like?
K-Laser therapy is quick, comfortable, and non-invasive.
- Sessions typically take between 5–15 minutes depending on the area treated
- You may feel a gentle warming sensation, it is not painful
- There is no downtime — most clients return to normal activities immediately
- A course of weekly or twice weekly treatments is usually recommended for optimal results
Preparing for your appointment
- No specific preparation is required
- Bring any xray / scan / biopsy reports or doctor / allied health letters about your past treatments or diagnosis if available
Post-treatment guidelines
- You can return to work and normal activities immediately
- It is best not to do any strenuous exercise with the affected area for the rest of the day
- You will not have any redness nor visible effects
