Dermapen skin needling involves a small pen that contains multiple very fine needles set to different depths and speeds to create microscopic fractional puncture channels into the surface layers of the skin. This stimulates the body’s own repair process, increasing collagen and elastin. The consequence of this is less fine lines, wrinkles, reduction in scars, and an increase in skin health for plumper and younger looking skin.

What is the difference between RF microneedling and regular skin needling?
RF microneedling emits tiny RF heat pulses at the tips of the needles, harnessing 2 different technologies to treat and tighten your skin. It is performed with the TriLift machine.
Regular skin needling is utilising only the microneedles causing tiny channels to stimulate healing and regeneration. It is done with the Dermapen.
How frequently can I have Dermapen skin needling?
Sessions should be spaced at least 4 weeks apart.
Can I have Dermapen skin needling in one specific area of the face rather than full face?
Yes – we have treatments for just around the eyes, just the lip lines, or a specific scar or stretchmark area.
Can I combine skin needling with PRP?
Yes – this is a common treatment we offer that takes skin needling to the next level. Blood is taken like a blood test from your arm, centrifuged to separate the platelet rich plasma then re applied into the skin with the Dermapen microneedles.
