What type of hair can be treated by LHR?

All hair colours can be treated except white hairs. The laser needs some pigment in the hair follicle to be attracted to.

Preparing for your appointment

For body areas please shave 1-2 days before your appointment
For facial or sparse hair areas in females you can leave the hair visible to be shaved on the day by the clinician
No tanning or fake tan for 2 weeks prior to the appointment

Post-treatment guidelines

Post laser gel can be applied
Care with sun protection for 2 weeks

How many sessions will I need?

We usually suggest a series of 6 treatments.

Are there medical conditions that laser hair removal can be used for?

Yes, we commonly see patients who benefit from LHR with associated medical issues or life stage hormonal changes including:
