We are using the FirstCheck app that can be downloaded free from the app store to offer online skin spot checks. Dr Ward is currently the only Geelong doctor available for consultation on the app.
You will also need a small magnifier to attach to your phone camera to take 3 photos of the skin spot of concern – Two from distances of 5-10cm, and one with the magnifier. Magnifiers are available for order online ($29.95 including postage) or can be purchased from our clinic. The fee for diagnosing a spot via the app is $19.95 per spot.
Alternatively once you have purchased the magnifier, you can send photos via email directly to us for the same fee to get them diagnosed or keep track of lesions we have already seen but need surveillance.
